This week I am still testing some bread recipes. Today I’ve prepared some baguettes with club wheat flour.
Despite having let the dough rest for about 4 hours, it has not rised too much and the baguettes are quite small, but the taste is spectacular!!!
You should have seen my children’s faces when they saw the baguettes, the first think they asked was: can we eat them?…. as usually the baguettes we have at home are made with wheat flour and are only for his father…
Recipe of club wheat baguettes
- 500g of club wheat flour
- 250g of water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of dry bread yeast
I’ve placed all the ingredients on the Thermomix and I have programmed 10 minutes at mode knead. I have leaved the dough on the machine for and hour and then I have made the baguettes, which I have then placed on a tray, separated with a cotton cloth. I have left them on a warm place for about 4 hours, rising.
Finally I have baked them for 15 minutes at 220ºC.
