I’ve had this post on the drafts folder for some months, waiting to improve this recipe… this week it has been my birthday and I have made a cake, so I have taken the opportunity to improve the recipe. This is the cake I have prepared!!
I use to prepare this cake using olive or sunflower oil but we did not digest it quite well, so this time I’ve used vegetable milk instead of oil and the result is a more digestive cake and as tasty as the one made using oil.
This other cake is the one I prepared for my son’s birthday, some months ago.
Recipe of birthday cake
- 200g of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 60g of olive or sunflower oil or vegetable milk
- 200g of vegetable cream
- 300g of club wheat flour
- 12g of baking powder
- the skin of a lemon
We mix all the ingredients with a food processor, and put the mix on a mold. Then we bake it for about 45 minutes at 180ºC.
We decorate it as we like and it’s ready to eat!!
