Oat and corn biscuits

This morning I felt like cooking some biscuits, so I decided to test a new recipe!!

Although they look like two different kind of biscuits, they are the same, the ones on the left are less baked and does not have xia seeds, the ones on the right have the seeds and are quite a bit too baked 🙁

This is a very simple and quick recipe!!

Recipe of oat and corn biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 100g of corn flour
  • 100g of oat flakes
  • 1/2 envelope of baking powder
  • some lemon juice
  • 4 spoons of rice syrup
  • 4 spoons of olive oil
  • xia seeds

Elaboration:

We put the flour, flakes and baking powder on a bowl and mix it. Then we make a hole on the center and add the lemon juice, rice syrup and the oli. We mix again.

With some water on our hands we make little balls and place them on a baking tray, covered with baking paper. We squash the ball to make the biscuit and bake them for about 10-15 minutes at 180ºC
